Question: What is wrong with Eastern religions? Answer: They are wrong in their teachings of reincarnation, karma, enlightenment, non-violence, pantheism, dualism, avatars, and veneration of dead ancestors. Their philosophies are contradictory to science, reason, and even to itself. They believe in the cycle of reincarnation, but why even bother starting the cycle to become sinful when it was sinless to begin with? They believe in attaining enlightenment by detaching themselves from desire, but why desire enlightenment then? They believe in non-violence of life by taking a vegetarian diet, but why bother when they are still killing lives by eating plants? The Eastern religions have been known to exist for millennias. Its beliefs have been promoted throughout many circles, such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Sikhism, Jainism, Taoism, Confucianism, Shamanism, the New Age movement, and the Baha'i faith. Even some Christians have already begun to accept some of its practices in the Emergent churches. This system of metaphysics is easily refuted when comparing its teachings to the word of God.
