What many Christians think is that the work in church is an option for them. They put streetpreaching as an option, visitation as an option, tract distribution as an option, church attendance as an option, Sunday school teaching as an option. When you start mistaking a certain duty as an option, then you will also make so many more duties as an option. It is no wonder that the Christian work is not getting done. That is why more souls are going to Hell, more believers are becoming backsliders, more churches are getting smaller, and more laborers are relaxing in the harvest fields. It does not matter how good the excuses are, because it will all amount to nothing when looking at the results. Your arguments will never change the results. If the saints want to make a difference with the current weak results, then they must put more effort into it. To do so will cause more souls to get saved, more believers to serve God, more churches to increase, and more laborers to work in the harvest fields. In order to create such a transformation, we must get it into our heads that duty is not an option.

Romans 14:12
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

  1. Duty Is for All
  2. Duty As an Account
  3. Duty to the Almighty
