This is the kind of rare preaching that you hear every once in a while on shouting and running around the bases. The Bible says that people are acting like jackasses for vain things. They serve their masters named Satan, flesh, and the world with great zeal and fervor. But when it comes to God, they are unwilling to bend down as donkeys and let Jesus ride on their backs. Nowadays, Christians do not want to shout out their lungs, praise the Almighty, run around the bases, witness publicly, or preach like fools for the Lord because they are afraid of looking like a jackass in front of others. They do not realize that makes them a jackass for something so vain. Whether one likes it or not, a person can only become two things. You either be a jackass for Jesus or a jackass for the world. Why continue to let man grab you by the collar and lead you to the miseries and sufferings of your sins? Let the Spirit grab you by the collar and lead you to joy, love, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Who cares if you look like a jackass when you do something so public and crazy for Jesus? Cut that jackass loose!

Luke 19:31
And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.

  1. Hindered by the Men
  2. Haltered by the Manacles
  3. Handled by the Master
