Welcome to San Jose Bible Baptist Church

Looking for a Bible-believing church in the Silicon Valley or San Francisco Bay Area of California?  Search no further.  What we will guarantee to you is that you will be fed with so much Bible and be led to a Christ-centered life in here.  Our Bible studies will be tremendously thorough and easily understandable, covering theological basics, cults, end times prophecy, deep doctrines, and verse-by-verse commentaries. The King James Bible will be practiced and proven against all religions, philosophies, and beliefs.  The singing of this church will have hymns and specials intended to exhilarate and touch the hearts of the audience.  The impact of the preaching about sin, soul-winning, warfare, encouragement, and joy will convict, inspire, and comfort the hearers.  Our stance is fundamental, independent, Baptist, KJV-Only, dispensational, soul-winning, sin-stomping, Bible-believing in practice and doctrine.  It is not limited to certain groups.  Anyone and everyone is invited.  Skeptical in what you just read?  Then please drop by just once and check us out.  And may we invite you with a hearty welcome to San Jose Bible Baptist Church!

In Christ,

Dr. Gene Kim (UC Berkeley & PBI)

Sermon: Wasted on Purpose PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 07 September 2011 17:56

Christ has given to us the wonderful gift of salvation through a heavy price. Now, Christians have the opportunity to earn rewards in Heaven, receive His blessings, and accomplish something for the Lord. However, we have purposely wasted the precious things of God and have no second thoughts to how much our Savior have bled to provide them for us. The majority was spent on our own pleasure, rather than the Father. Despite of the saints seeing and knowing how much they are wasting after every year has passed, they still do not care. Usually, people do not feel the hurt from how much they waste until the end of their lives. Then they will look back with tears in their eyes and ask themselves, "To what purpose is this waste?"

Mt 26:8 But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

  1. Seeing the Waste
  2. Feeling the Waste
  3. Deeming the Waste

Bible Study - Creation of Man PDF Print E-mail

That is who we are. The most crowning achievement out of all of God's works is His creation of man. Many have wondered where and why are we humans existing today? The majority have accepted the fantastic notion that humans have originated from evolving processes of matter and energy.  But everyone cannot deny deep down inside that there had to be some supernatural Being that created us. The Bible shows that humans originated from the hand and breath of the Lord Almighty. Man was not...

Romans 6:10-14

10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead...

Jeremiah 20:7-9

7 O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.
8 For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.
9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with...

Romans 6:5-9

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more...
