Summer Camp - The Final and Roughest Message

Evangelist Brian DelGrande preached the final 2009 summer camp message on July 5, 2009.

Revelation Chapter 3

1: And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
2: Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3: Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4: Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

Open-Air Meetings PDF Print E-mail
Open-Air MeetingsI received the following article from a website. Here are some important points on how God uses street-preaching for His glory. Who said that street-preaching is not proper for a Christian? It is a necessity in every church! R.A. Torrey strongly believed in street-preaching. While our church always preached out on the streets, several times we came across students from Biola University criticizing and condemning our street-preaching. Those people do not even realize that their founder R.A. Torrey taught street-preaching in his lectures. How shocking it is to see that apostasy quickly arose in Biola University less than 100 years! They should have at least taken a look at R.A. Torrey's lectures, like this one:

OPEN-AIR MEETINGS

I. Their importance and advantages.

1. They are Scriptural. Jesus said, "Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind." Every great preacher of the Bible was an open-air preacher. Peter was an open-air preacher, Paul was an open-air preacher, and so were Elijah, Moses and Ezra. More important than all, Jesus Christ Himself was an open-air preacher, and preached for the most part out of doors. Every great sermon recorded in the Bible was preached in the open air; the sermon on the Day of Pentecost, the Sermon on the Mount, the sermon on Mars Hill, etc. In this country we have an idea that open-air preaching is for those who cannot get any other place to speak, but...

Carnal Christians - Letter #2 PDF Print E-mail
Carnal Christians - Letter #2"Carne" has to do with meat and that is where we get the idea of carnivorous. Carnal is pertaining to the flesh. It is the opposite of spiritual. It is to be given to the lusts of the flesh. This is a term that is used often in our Bible believing camps. This term is used by some to describe a Christian who has one less conviction than they do. So is a person carnal who does not have the same convictions as you? What would be a guideline to say whether a person is carnal or not? What are the...

12: Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
14: And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These...

1 Peter 3:15

15: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

Muhammad Cannot Deny the Power of Jesus PDF Print E-mail
Muhammad Cannot Deny the Power of JesusTo the precious Muslims holding their beliefs sincerely, they know that their beliefs all rely on the man Muhammed. The reason is because all the teachings from the Koran are written by Muhammed, who is known as the greatest among the prophets. Islam also recognize that Jesus is a prophet in their religion as well. By comparing the Koran and Biblical history, let us see if Muhammed or Jesus should be the one to acknowledge for truth.

1) Muhammed married a six-year-old girl named...

Is Dr. Rick Warren Praying to God or Praying to His Many Idol Gods?

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
